Experience the history and wild lands on this Canadian Heritage River System.

The Yukon River flows north and west all the way to the Bering Strait through some of the wildest terrain in the world and is best known for assisting the gold seekers during the Klondike Gold Rush. After arriving in Whitehorse on day 1 we start our trip with a scenic water taxi across the vast Lake Laberge to the start of our trip at Thirty Mile Creek. This section of the Yukon River is part of the Canadian Heritage Rivers System and offers excellent fishing and exploration opportunities. The following days will be spent paddleboarding the beautiful Yukon River and exploring historic sites. Floating past many relics of the famous Klondike Gold Rush, your river guides, Norm and Kalin will lead you into the heart of the incredible Yukon Wilderness as we paddle our way to Carmarks. Scenic campsites, time away from emails and your phone, good times and laughs spent around a campfire and maybe even a Robert Service poem or two await you on this trip. Our expedition wraps up in Carmacks where our shuttle awaits to take us back to Whitehorse. If you have been on our Nisutlin River Expedition and you love the Yukon then this trip would be another great experience in the land of the wild. This trip will be more self sufficient as you will be packing all of  your own gear and food for the trip. True expedition style!
