Our Great Bear Dark is an organic, smooth, full bodied blend with delicious tasting notes of rich chocolate and caramel. This is a classic dark roast and one that can be enjoyed in a variety of brewing methods including Norm’s expedition favourite, Aeropress. This is a perfect coffee for your multi day expeditions, dawn patrol surf checks or quiet mornings reading a book.

Great Bear Dark is roasted fresh in Royston on the east coast of Vancouver Island by our friends, Gavin and Jessie at Royston Roasting Coffee Co. where they deliver a this promise. “We believe in enjoying fresh coffee that doesn’t only taste great, but that feels great. This is why sourcing high quality, green coffee beans with fair compensation to producers and all those involved in the supply chain is our promise. We roast small batches by hand, regularly with care. We believe in keeping all things fresh and from the heart, and we hope you will taste and will feel that with every cup coffee you sip.”
