Thanks for choosing us at Norm Hann Expeditions! Below we’ve listed a few important details you should know before you join us on tour.

DEPARTURE: All trips depart at 7:30AM from Nexxan Beach at Squamish’s Waterfront located at 37321 Galbraith Avenue; please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in. Tours are 3.5 hours in length.

Note that start times are weather and wind dependant. Final decision for start time will be established the night before departure and communicated to you via your provided phone number or email address.

WHAT TO BRING:

      • Change of clothes
      • Water bottle
      • Proper water footwear/booties
      • Warm Days: Swim/Board shorts & T-shirt
      • Colder Days: Long tights under swim/board shorts & long-sleeve shirt, fleece
      • Light Shell Jacket
      • Sunglasses with attachments
      • Hat
      • Waterproof camera/GoPro or cellphone with waterproof case

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any changes or cancellations made within 24 hours of the activity are subject to a 100% charge. Norm Hann Expeditions (“NHE”) reserves the right to cancel tours due to inclement weather, sea state conditions, insufficient bookings or events beyond our control. If for any reason there is a cancellation within the 24 hour time frame, even if the booking is made within this time frame, we are unable to offer refunds or credits. If NHE needs to cancel your booking for any reason, they will refund your full deposit or, if you choose, move you to an alternative date convenient for you.

A Half Day of Paddling Exploration of the Howe Sound Fiord.

If your looking for tour that gives you more time on the water than our Sound Tour then join us for our Fiord Explorer. This adventure is 3.5 hours long which will give you ample opportunity to explore areas like the Squamish Estuary, the lower Squamish River and the stunning west wall. It will also give you a lot of time to look for the abundant marine wildlife under the stunning backdrop of the Chief and Shannon Falls. Our interpretive paddling guides will lead you on a fun journey of exploration, skills building and time for connection with the ocean.
