Program Location

We base our Coastal Stoke program out of the Squamish Paddling Club located at the Boathouse on Loggers Lane behind the park pavilion. Loggers Lane parallels Cleveland Ave and is on the ocean side.
Includes: All paddling and safety gear, 2 hour lesson and tour with a  certified Paddle Canada SUP Instructor.

Cancellation Policy:

Please email Tina Currie to cancel your Intro to Stoke reservation 24 hours prior to the event in order to receive a full refund. There will be no refunds within 24hrs. 

**Coastal Stroke reserves the right to cancel or delay events due to weather and sea state conditions.  All reservations will be rescheduled at a mutually agree time.

 

An Introduction to Standup Paddleboarding on Howe Sound

The goal of our Intro to Stoke lesson is to introduce you to the sport of standup paddleboarding on the ocean. We focus on three things during this lesson, ocean safety and awareness, technical paddling skills and an opportunity to build the skill set necessary and foundation for ocean exploration and touring. Led by certified Paddle Canada instructors and coaches this 2 hour intro is perfect for those who have never paddled before or for those who have paddled but want to tune up and improve their skills while building comfort on the ocean. The Intro to Stoke class is mandatory for those wanting to join our exploratory Coastal Stoke Tours.  Don’t worry about gear, we have all paddling and safety equipment  ready to go for you on your arrival for the Intro To Stoke Lesson. This is a great opportunity while learning to demo Sprout Surf and Red Paddle Co Inflatables, Sunova Race & Downwinding boards and Blackfish Paddles. See you on the water.
